Only 4 teams are left this year for the 2005 NCAA Basketball National Championship. Who will win? I do know the answer to that.
Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels will win the title this year. After many years of frustration with championship caliber teams at Kansas, Roy will finally win his first title.
Although North Carolina doesn't really have a defense, they don't need one. They'll score 80 plus points in each game and the other 2 opponents won't have the offensive fire-power to keep up.
Illinois and Louisville will be a great game but will only be the victim of a title game loss the following Monday. Nobody can stop Sean May and that leaves a couple of future lottery picks with a lot of open looks from the perimiter and driving through the lane.
I would have loved to see Kansas take on North Carolina in the semi-final and then take on Illinois in the Final but hey, I'm sure we'll be playing them down the road.
